Pricing

Buy it once. Keep it for good.

Buy version 1 once. Maintenance keeps updates and support coming for a year, and the modules you add run by the year. If maintenance ends, what you installed keeps working. Prices are per organisation, before tax, in US dollars.

Three ways to begin

Try it first

Thirty days, every module, no card. Once per organisation. Your configuration is kept for when you buy.

Start a thirty-day evaluation

Buy by card

Card checkout opens once prices are set. Until then, ask for an invoice or start the evaluation.

Pay by invoice

For organisations: a quote with your purchase-order number and net terms, paid by card or bank transfer. The licence is issued when the invoice is paid.

What is included, and what is a module

The licence carries the whole core and sixteen included modules: capture, ingestion sources, processing, archival copies, search, the local AI runtime, semantic and visual search, transcripts, picture descriptions, Ask, hosted AI with the keychain, connections, records, notes, export and import, enterprise identity. Four modules for demanding work are sold by the year: Provenance, Court bundles, Legal discovery and Legal forensics. Every module, included or not, is yours to switch on or off.

Two worked examples

A family. The licence and a year of maintenance. On the day: both. Each year after: maintenance, unless cancelled. Cancelled in the third year: the archive keeps running as it is; updates and support stop until it is renewed.

A chambers. The licence, maintenance and Court bundles. On the day: all three. Each year after: maintenance and the module. Legal discovery added in March: the rest of that year prorated now, the full year from the next renewal.

Questions

What happens when maintenance lapses?

Nothing stops. Every module you had switched on keeps working, as does everything else. The appliance no longer applies new releases and you no longer have support. Renew and both return; the licence file is issued again with the new date and the appliance installs it by itself.

Can I pay by invoice or purchase order?

Yes. Ask for a quote with your PO number and net terms; the invoice is paid by card or bank transfer. The licence is issued when the invoice is paid.

Does the appliance need to reach the internet?

Only to pull releases and to refresh its licence. An air-gapped site installs the licence file by hand and takes each release as one signed file carried in by hand, or through a mirror; the software never phones home.

What does the evaluation include?

Every module for thirty days, once per organisation, no card. When it ends the appliance locks to its sign-in and licence pages; nothing in it is lost, and a licence opens it again.

How do upgrades work?

Maintenance covers every release within your major version. The next major version is a new licence, at a discount for holders of the previous one (Price on request at full price, less the discount). An appliance still on the previous version keeps a valid licence.

Where does it run?

On your network, or wherever you choose to run it: a spare machine, a server you already have, a virtual machine, a cloud instance you control. One installation per licence is the usual shape; ask us about more.
